Anyone who saw Jodorowsky’s Dune will have done the same Google search right afterward: "Jodorowsky’s Dune book". This is because Alejandro Jodorowsky, the director, talks in detail about his plans to adapt Frank Herbert's Dune for the big-screen, and the amazing book he wrote so that movie studios could see all of the work he had done.

The book contains the storyboards, concept art and script. It is almost as close as anyone can get at Jodorowsky’s Dune version. The director and his team made only a few copies of the book, and that was many decades ago. This is not a book that you can buy on Amazon. It is impossible to find it.
If you have lots of money, there is a way to make it happen. Christie's is offering a rare book made for Jodorowsky's Dune for auction later in the month. It's believed to be one of only 10 or 20 copies worldwide. Christie's estimates that it will fetch between 25,000 Euro and 35,000 Euro, which is roughly $ 30,000 to $ 40,000.
It could even be bigger, who knows? Dune is back in the public eye with Denis Villeneuve's Dune in theaters and a second part coming in 2023. Fans who want to learn more about Herbert's world and the amazing world-building Jodorowsky did in order to make his film will be able to do so. Frank Pavich directs the 2014 documentary and explores some of the artwork of Chris Foss, Moebius, H.R. Giger and many other artists--bu t to actually hold it in your hands. You can read the script.
