Audiences gave 'Eternals' the worst reviews of any Marvel Studios movie, according to CinemaScore

CinemaScore gave "Eternals" a B-grade. This is a company that conducts audience surveys on opening night.
This is the lowest CinemaScore score for a Marvel Cinematic Universe movie.

Only one other MCU movie received a lower grade than an A-.

Marvel's newest movie, "Eternals," was released over the weekend with $71 Million.

This was in line with analyst projections. It was the fourth largest domestic debut of the pandemic. However, it is still a disappointing result for a Marvel Cinematic Universe movie.

"Eternals" was the lowest CinemaScore score of any MCU movie with a grade below a B. CinemaScore, a movie-grading company, surveys moviegoers in theaters throughout the US during a movie's first night.

It is also the most poorly reviewed movie in the MCU, with a 48% Rotten Tomatoes Critic Score.

Marvel standards consider a B grade disappointing. Only one other MCU movie received a lower grade than "Thor" (2011).
