COP26: Fossil fuel industry's delegation and the UK's £290m pledge

The COP26 climate conference enters its second and last week. There are representatives from many countries at the conference, but there are also delegates from the fossil fuel industry. These emissions are contributing to global warming. Global Witness analysis shared by the BBC shows that 503 of these delegates are said to be lobbying for oil and gas industries. Campaigners argue that the fossil fuel industry has been delaying and delaying action on climate change for decades. According to the International Emissions Trading Association, there is a transition underway in accordance with its goal of finding market-based methods of driving down emissions.
