This promotion is just one of many that the service announced as part its planned Disney Plus Day event, which will take place on November 12th. Subscribers can enjoy special perks at the parks on Disney Plus Day, in addition to receiving a month's service for dirt cheap. These perks include early access to Disneyland Resort and Walt Disney World Resort parks, along with free Disney PhotoPass photo downloadings.
ShopDisney will soon have new merchandise from all Disney franchises, including Marvel and Pixar. Disney Plus subscribers will also be eligible for free shipping to the US and Europe between November 12th and November 14th. Through November 17th, Disney ebooks will be available at a $1 discount. The company has teamed up with Target to offer exclusive giveaways to subscribers who sign up in-store.
Funko is also partnering Disney to offer 10 percent discount on Disney Plus products using the code DISNEYPLUSDAY. WizKids offers a 5-percent discount for Disney products. These products will be shipped with a Marvel-themed gift from November 8th to November 14th. Plus, New Star Wars Funko products will be made available at BringHometheBounty.com beginning at 6AM PT on November 12th.
Participating AMC theaters will also screen Disney films for $5 per ticket from November 12th to November 14th. The show will surprise you with a short, so you won't know what you are seeing until it starts. The ticket price includes special concessions and a Disney Plus sign. Participating theaters from more than 200 AMC will be present.
It wouldn't be a 2021 event without some NFT shenanigans. VeVe is partnering Disney to offer NFTs of special NFTs of gold statues featuring characters from the Disney brand and franchises. On Disney Plus Day, a rare collectible will be made available.
