Forza Horizon 5's developers plan to add sign language interpreters on-screen during cutscenes. Although the feature will not be available for players when the game launches globally on November 9, Mike Brown, Playground Games' creative director, stated in a blog post that it would soon be.
Brown shared his thoughts on Xbox Wire in a blog post. He said that we are constantly listening to the community and making Forza Horizon 5 an accessible experience for all. The team is pleased to announce that they are working on American Sign Language (ASL), and British Sign Language(BSL) support for cinematics for Forza Horizon 5.
Forza Horizon 5 will include many other accessibility features at launch. These include a game speed adjustment setting that allows you to play at a reduced speed when playing off-line, a high color blindness mode and customizable subtitles. A screen reader narrator reads text and buttons aloud and can disable moving backgrounds.
Brown stated that we want all gamers to have the opportunity to enjoy our game. With more than 400 million gamers with disabilities around the globe, it is crucial that players can customize their gameplay to suit their needs.
Forza Horizon 5 will be available on Xbox Series X / S and Xbox One on November 9th. Premium Edition and Premium Add-Ons Bundles were able to start the game on November 5th.
