Reports say that a Missouri couple won $2.4 million after a woman pleaded with her husband to purchase a ticket.

Her husband stated that her wife made me buy a lottery ticket out of sheer desire to watch the football match at home.

"So, I pulled over and bought the Lottery tickets out of frustration."

The couple bought a Quick Pick ticket from Casey's General Store in Grain Valley. In this store, a computer generates random numbers.

The couple was the sole winner after matching all six numbers in the October 23 drawing.

According to lottery officials, the odds of matching 6 numbers out of 6 is 1 in 3,529 526.
