Kylie Jenner Defends Travis Over Astroworld Tragedy, He Didn't Know

Kylie Jenner shared the sentiments of Travis Scott and said they are heartbroken by the Astroworld tragedy which claimed 8 lives. Travis, however, insists that he wasn't aware of the gravity of the situation as he performed in the crowd.
Kylie stated, "Travis is broken and devastated. My thoughts and prayers go out to all those who were hurt or killed by yesterday's events.

She addressed the criticism that Travis continued to perform on the stage for 40 minutes after the tragedy. "And also Travis, who I know deeply cares about his fans and Houston community, I want it to be clear we weren't aware of any deaths until the news was out after the show. In no world would we have continued filming and performing."

Kylie, who is pregnant with Travis' second child, and Stormi, 3 years old were there but far from the crowd. Kendall Jenner was also there.

Travis earlier posted: "I'm honestly just distraught... We're actually trying right now to identify families so that we can help them through this difficult time.

Kylie ended her condolences with words of sympathy. "I am sending my deepest sympathies to all the families during these difficult times and will be praying that everyone is healed."

Jenner was criticised online for not posting Instagram stories from the crowd. It appeared that an ambulance was trying to get through.

Festival organizers are being criticized for failing to stop the concert. However, emergency responders declared the scene a "mass causality" event and tried to revive some victims.
