Douglas Jantz (57), a Houston middle school teacher who is now retired, has been playing tennis since the age of 9. He takes his game seriously, so it was a concern when his knees began to hurt. He was eventually diagnosed with osteoarthritis. He says that tennis is his favorite sport so he was upset. "I was afraid that I would have to quit.
