Stranger Things' third season ended in 2019. Eleven (Millie Bobby Brown), and the Byers family, were unlucky enough to pack up and leave Hawkins, Indiana. You can take a former telekinetic girl, and a child who was stuck in another dimension to start a new existence. California, of course!

The new trailer for Netflix's fourth season shows Eleven writing a letter to Mike (Finn Wolfhard), detailing her new life on the west coast. It was revealed during Netflix's Stranger Things Day. It looks great, and it must have been fun to ride in a pizza truck to school, but it doesn't look like it will be so much fun for our once-powerful protagonist.
She insists in her letter that she is having the best time ever, moving on from Hawkins (presumed death) death. But it's clear that she isn't. She narrates how she has made many friends and how she was ignored by a classmate. As if that wasn't enough, Eleven gets hit with a spatball. Eleven, like many teenagers in school has spring break to look forward too. However, once Eleven drops her promise that spring break would be the best ever, things quickly turn sour with glimpses into chaos.
If Eleven is being pursued by the government and having a shootout at her house are any indications, then going to the roller skating rink might not be the best decision for her. Eleven is now without her powers and in danger. However, it appears that the new season will bring in other test subjects to help Eleven pick up the supernatural skills. Netflix will release Stranger Things' fourth season in 2022.
