You just received your dangerously slippery Pixel 6 and 6 Pro, and you are now scrambling for a case to protect it. You may be a MagSafe-curious Pixel user or have recently switched to the Pixel, but still have MagSafe accessories that you don't want to throw away. Moment, a mobile accessory manufacturer, believes that all of its lenses and mounts for content creators must be compatible with all models and brands of phones. Each case can be used with Moment's accessories catalog, which shares the same mount design as different camera bodies. Moment isn't the first company to make a cross-platform bag: Moment released MagSafe-compatible bags for the Samsung Galaxy S21s earlier in the year.
Alec Ploof, Moment's head of partnerships, said that the idea to make the Moment cases compatible with MagSafe was very simple. We used our M(Force magnets) in all our Moment cases for iPhone 11, 12, and 13, so we decided to include them in our new Pixel 6 and Samsung S21 cases. This will allow these cases to be compatible with MagSafe mounting products.
Moments' previous cases featured wood and canvas panels. This case is the only one that will fit both the Pixel 6 Pros and Pixel 6 Pros. It is all black and made from a high-strength polycarbonate (HSP) and TPU, which are both textured and grippy materials. The three-layer outer shell will protect your Pixel 6 from drops up to six feet. There is even a provision for a wrist band (sold separately).
The inside contains a premium microfiber liner, which wraps around the Pixel 6 and 6 Pro as well as 36 Moments proprietary (M-Force) magnets. These magnets can be used to create about 15 lbs of force. Your MagSafe accessory should attach securely and easily to your Pixel.
This Moment case with (M.Force) will work with the Pro Tripod Mount and MagSafe. It will also be able wirelessly charge any Qi- or MagSafe-compatible battery. Your Pixel 6 may be able use other Qi- or MagSafe-friendly accessories, such as Ankers 8-in-1 637 Magnetic Charge Station. Don't expect 15W fast charging with Apples MagSafe charger.
Moments has both the (M)Force and Pixel 6 Pro cases available for purchase for $50. The Pixel 6 case is in stock but the Pixel 6 Pro case will not ship until December 4th because of a global shortage.
