Cameron Norrie cannot qualify for ATP Finals after Hubert Hurkacz takes last spot

Cameron Norrie reached six finals in this year's competition and rose to the number 13 position in the world.

Cameron Norrie, British number one, cannot no longer qualify to the season-ending ATP Finals at Turin.

Hubert Hurkacz, a Polish player, reached the semi-finals at the Paris Masters on Friday to secure the eighth and final qualifying spot.

The seventh seed beat Australian James Duckworth, 6-2,6-7 (4-7) 7-5. In the fourth round, Novak Djokovic will be facing him.

Norrie intends to continue to travel to Turin as one the two alternates.

American Taylor Fritz, 26, was the world number 13, and was eliminated in Paris in the 16th round. Djokovic defeated Fritz in the quarter-finals 6-4 6-3.
