This is a brand-new security camera that Google launched a few months back. The battery lasts for about a month and can be quickly charged with the charger. Mount the mounting plate and the camera will stick to it magnetically. It won't require you to remove anything to recharge. The motion detector works well and we love the 1080p video quality. It requires a Google account to use the Google Home app.

Smart displays are a useful addition to any smart home. You can control other smart home devices via voice or touch. Google's Nest Hub uses Google Assistant. You can ask it any question you would type into Google Search, and usually get an answer. It can be placed in a bedroom or kitchen and has no camera. It can be connected to a Google Photos account, which will allow it to act as a digital frame for most of the time.

You don't even need a screen. Nest Audio (8/10 WIRED Recommends), is a smart speaker that anyone can use with Google Assistant. The sound quality is great and it can be paired with two to get excellent stereo performance. It can be asked anything, set timers or simply play music.

The instant camera is making a comeback and it's for good reasons! These cameras are great fun to bring along, especially for parties and celebrations. We love the Fujifilm Instax Mini 11 because it is affordable and comes in stylish colors. More information and recommendations are available in our new Best Instant Cameras Guide.

TCL produces some of the best TVs available on the market. The 6-Series is our favorite TV. The 5-Series is our top pick for budget-minded people, but the 4-Series is a temptingly affordable option.
