Google Stadia will finally let you join multiplayer games without an invite

Google finally allows Stadia users to join multiplayer games without requiring an invite. Although this basic feature is already available on all console platforms and PC launchers it took Google almost two years to add it for Stadia. The feature is now confirmed by a new support page in Far Cry 6 on Stadia. This means that friends can join you without having to go into the menus or issue invites.
Google states that the feature is not available in all games and is disabled by default. 9to5Google discovered that the feature was enabled by default. We confirmed it on one of our Stadia accounts. The feature to join without inviting is available in the Stadia Android app and the iOS web version.

Over the past two-years since its launch, Google has been slowly adding features to Stadia. This includes a 30-minute Hello Engineer game trial. Stadia's future is still a whitelabel service that game developers can use to stream games. Last month, AT&T launched a browser-based version Batman: Arkham Knight with Stadias technology.
