This makes perfect sense. It must be very difficult to lose yourself in your Star Wars role if you grew up loving Star Wars and have been captivated by it as a child. Imagine standing 10 feet from Darth Vader, who will be played by Hayden Christiansen in Obi-Wan Kenobi. He will also reprise his prequel role. Although we don't know Nanjiani's role, there is no reason to believe he has a scene alongside Vader. Among all the new actorsIndiraVarma (Game of Thrones), Sung Kang(Fast and Furious), Maya Erskine (30 June 2015), Moses Ingram (30 June 2015), Rupert Friend (20 Homeland), OShea Jr. (Straight Outta Compton), Simone Kessell (3 Terra Nova), Benny Safdie (30 Good Time),) one of them has a scene alongside Vader. Why not Nanjiani? We may actually have a candidate. Joel Edgerton, Bonnie Piesse and Beru Lars will be reprising their roles in the prequels. If Mark Hamill can be persuaded to do another motion-capture to create a creepy CG version as a child, it'll be a Lars family reunion!
