Zack Steffen, Manchester City goalkeeper, has signed a new 4-year contract to stay with the club until 2025.

The number one USA player joined the Premier League champions as a 2019 addition, and his current contract was set to expire in 2023.

Although Ederson has been largely Ederson's understudy, the 26-year old has made two Premier League starts, and was part of City's win last term in the Carabao Cup.

Steffen stated, "It's an honor to be here and help this team achieve its goals."

He said, "I am constantly learning and have certainly improved my goalkeeping skills since I came here." It was an incredible experience to have contributed to our success last year.

"I want Ederson to push me every day, and I will take my chances when they come."

American citizen, Columbus Crew, arrived in Manchester. He spent the 2019-20 season at Fortuna Dusseldorf on loan.
