Three weeks before Adele's "30", Ed Sheeran released "Equals", his new album.

Recently, he revealed that he had finished the album in July and it was ready to be printed on vinyl.

He said that Adele had booked out virtually all of the vinyl factories on "The Kyle & Jackie O Show."

Ed Sheeran stated that Adele's highly-anticipated song "30" had influenced his album release.

The singer of "Bad Habits", dropped his fifth studio album, "Equals", on Friday. This was three weeks before Adele's fourth album, "=") is due for release.

During a Friday interview with "The Kyle & Jackie O Show", he said that he had rushed to finish Equals two months ahead of its release on vinyl.

Sheeran answered that he doesn't get nervous about releasing new music and said that he couldn't do more on the recording, writing and editing side.

The album was not finished by the end of this week, so it was returned to me. He said that he had handed it in July because it needed to be printed on vinyl. There are three vinyl factories around the world so it is important to get it done quickly. Adele had already booked all the vinyl factories so we had to secure a slot and get our albums in there.

Sheeran also mentioned Coldplay and Taylor Swift, ABBA, Elton John, and ABBA as they were all trying to print vinyls at the same.

Vinyl's popularity has increased over the past decade, creating major problems for manufacturers. The few remaining pressing plants around this globe can't meet the demand.

Billboard reports that these factories can produce 160 million albums per year, but the demand for current production is twice that. Current demand is "between 320 million to 400 million units."

Even worse, MDC, a Japanese company that makes the lacquer discs necessary for the vinyl stamping process, is the only company left. Apollo Masters, a California-based company, was destroyed in February.

Vinyl sales can play a significant role in chart performance for top-selling artists such as Swift and Adele. Swift's most recent albums, "Evermore" (Taylor) and "Fearless(Taylor’s Version)," both reached No. After months of delays, the preordered records finally arrived at No. 1 on the Billboard 200.

CDs were responsible for half the sales of Adele's "21" album and her "25" album, her most recent albums. According to Billboard, vinyl will outsell compact discs for the first time since over 30 years. Strategic sense is made by her focus on vinyl production in "30".

Sheeran is another top-selling artist. "Equals," by Sheeran, will most likely debut at No. 1.

"Truly man, there is no stone unturned. Sheeran stated that he is doing everything possible in every media outlet. He's prerecorded loads of content. I can't do more. If it's large, I've done all I can. I have done all I can if it isn't big.

He said, "The preorders alone have been around 600,000, so we are happy." I don't know if it will be 'Divide-level', even though 'Divide did less on preorders but it's still a different world. People listen to music in a completely different way.

Sheeran's third album, "Divide", (stylized ""), was the most-sold album of 2017.
