Veljko Punovic was named Reading manager in August 2020
Veljko Paunovic, Reading manager, has been tested positive for Covid-19. She is now in isolation.
Paunovic has "mild symptoms" and has been fully vaccinated, the Championship club stated in a statement.
Marko Mitrovic, assistant manager, will be in charge of the team's trip to Millwall on Tuesday night.
Paunovic (44), a former Atletico Madrid forward and Serbia forward, will not be present for the Championship fixture at Birmingham City.
Reading reported that a complete round of Covid-19 testing was conducted at the training ground by Reading on Monday and returned negative results.
