LG announced today that all 2016-2020 model 4K and 8K LG Smart TVs are eligible for a three-month free trial of Apple TV+. This offer is valid in the United States, as well as over 80 countries and regions.
The LG Content Store will offer the trial and it must be used by February 20, 2022. This promotion is only available to Apple TV+ first-time subscribers. Anyone who has tried Apple's streaming video service before cannot avail of it. One trial is allowed per eligible LG Smart TV, and one per Apple ID.
Apple TV+ usually offers a seven-day free trial. Prices are then $4.99 per month. Apple continues to offer a three-month free trial with every new iPhone, iPad or iPod touch purchased.
Apple TV+ is competing with Netflix and Disney+. It offers a variety of original programming that includes the award-winning comedy series Ted Lasso, as well as the drama series The Morning Show.
