Ultra Mobile, a prepaid operator on the T-Mobile network, aims to provide customers with what they need most in a phone plan: lots of data. Ultra Mobile offers international calling for free to more than 80 countries. You can select the data plan that suits you best, with up to 60GB high-speed data and the largest unlimited plan. Ultra Mobile in the U.S. uses T-Mobile's network to provide service. This means that the majority of people should have good coverage and most phones should be able to work on this network. Ultra Mobile supports 5G free of charge, provided your phone supports it. Ultra Mobile is an excellent prepaid option if you want great data coverage and a plan that allows you to make the most of it.
Ultra Mobile Unlimited: Ultra Mobile utilizes the powerful T-Mobile network to provide great coverage and faster speeds. Ultra offers unlimited data, which provides plenty of data even for the most heavy users. It also offers discounts for multi-month renewals for those who can plan ahead. Ultra Mobile can be purchased online at the Ultra Mobile website and in select partner stores. Ultra Mobile is available in the U.S.A and costs only $10 per month for the 250MB data plan. Ultra Mobile allows you to save money by purchasing multiple months of service. Your monthly rate will decrease, just like Mint Mobile. However, you will still need to pay the full term upfront. You can modify your renewal period online and via the Ultra Mobile app. If you aren't sure whether you like the service, start with one month, then renew for a longer term.

All Ultra Mobile plans come with unlimited talk to more 80 countries. All plans can be added to to add funds for international calls, texts, and roaming. Larger plans include some funds already. Unlimited plans include a $5 monthly international credit. Unlimited+ increases that to $10. Ultra Mobile - What's great?

Unlocked Samsung Galaxy S20+ 5G with unlimited SIM. The plan includes 40GB of high speed data and 10GB hotspot data. The plan includes $5 per month international calling and texting. Unlimited calls and texts within the U.S. are included, along with global texting and free calls from more than 80 countries. Ultra Mobile relies on T-Mobile to provide its network. That's a great thing. T-Mobile has made great progress in expanding its 5G network, and increasing coverage and capacity for LTE-enabled devices. T-Mobile has the US's best 5G coverage. Its deployment on the 2.5GHz spectrum, which is mid-band, is rapidly expanding and enabling faster speeds. This spectrum is called Ultra Capacity by T-Mobile. It will be more resilient to load so it makes sense for it to be brought to the urban and suburban areas as quickly as possible.

In my area, I was able to get strong n41 signals, and speeds of over 300Mbps were reached, with peak speeds exceeding 500Mbps. The upload speeds were even better than the download speeds, at around 50Mbps almost every time. As I traveled further away from town, even the slower band 5G network provided solid upload speeds. Smartphones love fast upload speeds because they allow you to send photos and videos quickly. This can improve the quality of video calls. Phone compatibility is another benefit of T-Mobile's network. T-Mobile's GSM network works with almost any unlocked phone. Although it is best to use the network with a 5G smartphone, all of the top Android phones that are available in the U.S. will work on T-Mobile. An older LTE-only phone can also be used, but it will not have full coverage if it has access to band 71.

The speed of data depends on where you live and the coverage. However, LTE speeds in northern Florida are fast and often surpass 50Mbps. 5G speeds can reach speeds of up to 559Mbps when there is poor coverage. You should try T-Mobile for a month to get an idea of how reliable it is in your region before you commit. The majority of people will be able to use their phone at full speed. Ultra Mobile's international calling is what makes it stand out among the rest. All plans include free calling to over 80 countries. To pay for international calls and texts, which cost per minute, $5 is added monthly to your account. This money can be added in increments of $5, $10, or $20. You can also add money for international roaming. You can use your Ultra Mobile number to travel internationally without having to purchase a new SIM card. This is great for short trips and as a backup to another SIM. Ultra Mobile offers some solid discounts if you are willing to pay upfront. Ultra Mobile offers several renewal options, starting at a single month at the full price. Up to 12 months can be purchased at once and you can save money. Ultra Mobile offers substantial discounts if you are willing to make a payment upfront. For the full year, the unlimited plan costs only $40 per month. This plan is very similar to Mint Mobile's unlimited plans, which are one of our top cell phone plans. It is also owned Ultra Mobile. Ultra Mobile: What's wrong?

Ultra Mobile's pricing is one of my biggest issues. Although the new unified plan structure is much better than before, it's still difficult to see how much your next month will cost. For example, the unlimited plan costs $40 per month while 12 months are $40 each. The reason is that the first month price is discounted and renewals at the end will be $10 more. Before you can see this information, you will need to add the plan into your cart. 5G is now available, and coverage is improving every day. My city has gone from not having 5G on any carrier to fully covered by T-Mobile in the past five months. Some spots even include band n41. Even with full coverage, 5G still doesn't reach every tower with LTE. T-Mobile's band number n71 is extremely wide and allows T-Mobile full coverage of 5G, even though the quality of some connections may be poor. My Galaxy S20+ will loop indefinitely between LTE and 5G, with terrible 5G performance. You can fix this problem by turning off 5G in your phone's settings, but then you'd have to turn it on again when you leave your home. As 5G has become more widespread, this has made things a lot easier in recent months. I also have a good Wi-Fi 6 router at home so I can connect to it whenever I need to.

Unlimited plans can limit data speeds for certain applications, such as video streaming. This is quite common. It is still a pain at 480p (1.5Mbps max) on an unlimited plan. This means you can't watch YouTube videos at 60FPS unless it is downloaded first and connected to Wi-Fi. This is a problem if you want to enjoy gameplay content at full frame rates. Video streaming is the best option if a carrier wants to limit any content. However, the unlimited plan has a limit at 40GB which makes it less real. I would like to be able toggle the video limit and access my 40GB as I wish. Ultra Mobile: Competition

Ultra Mobile partly owns Mint Mobile. They share many similarities, including multi-month savings and the ability to use the T-Mobile network. Mint Mobile plans can only be purchased in bulk. The shortest term is three months. Mint Mobile can be a great backup plan if you don’t require Ultra’s international features. However, the prices are generally lower. Mint Mobile's unlimited plan costs $30 per month if you purchase 12 months, whereas Ultra Mobile charges $40 per month. Visible, a Verizon-based prepaid operator with one unlimited plan, is available. There aren't many compatible phones like Ultra Mobile or Mint, and there is no roaming or 3G access. The unlimited plan is worth the investment, even though it costs $40 per month. Visible Parties can get it lower. Visible includes unlimited hotspot data up to 5Mbps. Ultra Mobile: Should You Buy It?

This is the best option if you have excellent T-Mobile coverage
International calling is possible
You need hotspot data
If you are willing to purchase up to one year of service simultaneously, If your T-Mobile coverage is poor, you can buy up to a year of service at once.
HD video streaming is what you want
You need multiple months, but you can only afford one. If your area has great T-Mobile coverage and you have a phone that supports all the network features, Ultra Mobile is a cost-effective way to get it. You get international calling, and you can save up to one year if you purchase a minimum of one year in advance. T-Mobile coverage may not be the best all around, so you might find your 5G experience isn’t as great if there isn’t much coverage. Ultra Mobile can be more costly than other carriers if you don’t sign up for the entire year. Ultra Mobile is rated 4.5 out 5 and is not the best or most affordable carrier. It's still a great option if you want international features and a lot of data at 40GB. Although 5G connectivity is not perfect, it shows how great it can be in the future. Video streaming should be made available to all users with large smartphones. Ultra Mobile is an excellent choice for anyone who needs to travel or calls abroad, and wants to have good coverage and data at home. While you can save some money and get similar data and coverage, the majority of Ultra Mobile will not allow you to use all international features. Ultra Mobile is the ideal way for many to stay connected, even if they are thousands of miles away from their home.
Ultra Mobile Unlimited Bottom line: Ultra Mobile is powered by the T-Mobile 5G and LTE networks. Ultra Mobile offers a lot of data at a very affordable price. Ultra Mobile offers multi-month discounts for renewals, which makes it easy to save. Starting at $40/mo. at Ultra Mobile
