More than 50 top Paralympic and Olympic athletes from 40 countries joined forces before the COP26 climate summit to call on global governments to make the planet "healthy" and safer.
A video entitled "Dear Leaders of the World" features athletes such as Andy Murray, Elid Kipchoge (tennis player) and Elid Kipchoge (marathon record holder). Paul Gasol, three-time Spanish Olympic basketball gold medallist, and Hannah Cockroft, seven-time Paralympic champion, all make their strong appeal in the video.
