Leaked images show ASUS may be releasing a Surface Pro competitor that docks to an external GPU

ASUS could be releasing a successor for the ROG FlowX13 convertible laptop, which doubles as a gaming computer. Evan Blass (@evleaks), a trusted leaker, tweeted a photo showing the ROG FlowZ13 at a glance. It looks very similar to the new Microsoft Surface Pro 8
We already know what the ROG Flow Z13 will perform if it is any like the X13. The convertible laptop X13 can be connected to an ASUS external graphic card (eGPU), called the XG Mobile. This connection is able to increase the convertible's performance.

The eGPU can also be used as a USB dock with a variety of ports. This transforms the convertible 13-inch into a fully-fledged gaming rig. Microsoft should be concerned that the ROG FlowZ13 can also be connected to the eGPU.

It's only been a year since the ROG Flow X13 was released. So it would be interesting to see what ASUS has in store for Z13. This image was part of a series that included images of ROG Zephyrus 16 and ROG wireless headphones. The images are not sourced from the right source and there is no further information on these devices. ASUS could be gearing up to CES 2022 in January or planning a surprise product release.
