Son slashes his father’s throat during an argument, then calls 911, Texas police say

Texas man accused of stabbing father and cutting his throat with knife during argument at Nacogdoches' home, where they lived.
According to the Nacogdoches County Sheriffs Office Blake Foxworth, 30, called 911 on Oct. 28 to report the incident and asked for help.

The sheriff's office stated that when deputies arrived at Foxworth's home, they found George Foxworth, 53, lying on a couch covered in blood and seemingly unconscious.

He was flown by helicopter from Nacogdoches to Tyler, 75 miles north of Nacogdoches.

According to the sheriff's office, Foxworth was found at his son's house by deputies and taken into custody. Foxworth was charged with aggravated assault using a deadly weapon and was taken to the county jail.

His father, however, died at the hospital the following day, Oct. 29, according to the Nacogdoches sheriffs' office. Investigators issued a murder warrant for Blake Foxworth soon afterward.

According to the sheriff's office, Foxworth's bond has been set at $1,000,000
