Disneys promised a sequel to the original Hocus Pocus, which is a Halloween tradition for many households. Disney has revealed the new cast of characters that will be joining the Sanderson sisters (again portrayed by Sarah Jessica Parker, Kathy Najimi, and Better Midler) for their second adventure.

Hocus Pocus 2's monster man Doug Jones will join the cast. Veep alums Tony Hale, Sam Richardson (also from the very good Werewolves Within! Ted Lassos Hannah Waddingham, and Jones was, as you may recall, the zombie Billy Butcherson who helped the children of Salem defeat Winnie ( Midler) and the Sanderson sisters.
Whitney Peak, Liliabuckingham, Juju Brener and Froy Gutierrez will be there, as well as Nina Kitchen, Nina Kitchen, Nina Kitchen, Nina Kitchen, Nina Kitchen, Nina Kitchen, Nina Kitchen, Lilia Buckingham, Belissa Eccobedo, Jujubrener, Juju Brener and Taylor Henderson. You've probably seen these younger actors on shows such as Teen Wolf and the ABC series The Baker and the Beauty. They are likely to be involved in the plot, or help the sisters with any dangers they create. The roles of the other characters in the film, except Jones, are yet to be revealed.
The plot of the new Hocus Pocus is the same as that of the 1993 original: the Sanderson Sisters, a trio made up of three young women, accidentally awaken in Salem. They begin to wreck everything and hunt for children to take their life force. Anne Fletcher (27 Dresses and Dumplin director) will handle the sequel. She stated back in May that this movie is for everyone. We should all be laughing everyday, and it is amazing to see these incredible women play such beloved characters.
