CNN anchor Jim Acosta criticised Fox News and Tucker Carlson's documentary "Patriot Purge" on January 6. He called it a "propaganda flick", "Proud Boy porn," and referred to an alt-right, hate group of white nationalists.
Acosta stated that Tucker Carlson, the inciting agent of right-wing violence in America, is why federal investigators and millions are afraid of right-wing violence in the country.
Carlson was the target of immediate criticism after releasing a trailer of the series. The trailer suggests that Carlson is implying that the Federal Bureau of Investigation was responsible for the January 6 riot. Geraldo Rivera, a Fox News colleague, criticized Carlson, saying in a tweet that the conspiracy theory of a "false flag", which was pushed in the documentary, is "bullshit."
The series will air on Fox Nation's streaming service starting Monday. Acosta stated that the Murdoch family oversees Fox News and other media outlets. This is while American democracy is being set on fire.
Acosta stated that Tucker Carlson and the Murdochs, their primetime pyromaniacs, seem determined to drag this country into civil war.
