Spurs need fans' support after 'bad performance' - Nuno
Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg, midfielder for Tottenham, said that Tottenham's performance against Manchester United in their 3-0 defeat at home was unacceptable.
Spurs are currently eighth in the table, but they have scored only nine league goals this season, and failed to score against United.
Hojbjerg stated that it was unacceptable to dress like this for BBC Sport.
"At home, there should be fireworks. It wasn't there. It was not there.
United's goals for Marcus Rashford, Edinson Cavani, and Cristiano Ronaldo eased the pressure on Ole Gunnar Solskjaer.
Nuno Espirito Sante, the Spurs manager, has been feeling more heat. Since Christian Gross 1997-98, Nuno Espirito Santo is the Spurs' first manager to lose five of the 10 Premier League matches. Their goal differential is also the worst of any team other than the bottom three. Only Norwich and Leeds United have scored more Premier League goals this season.
Spurs were booed at half-time as well as full-time, and Nuno also brought in Steven Bergwijn to Lucas Moura.
Nuno stated, "That's the truth."
Fans are the first to be unhappy when a team isn't performing well. We ask them to support us as it is the only way to improve things.
"We can have the right message, but things don't always go our way. We started better. We had more ball. We had more of the ball.
"I believe that we can do better because these players are trustworthy. They will have my support and I will be there for them until the end.
