MIAMI -- Dolphins coach Brian Flores responded to speculation that the Dolphins are in the market for Houston Texans quarterback Deshaun Wilson. He once again declared the Dolphins' commitment towards Tua Tagovailoa.

Flores also publicly supported Tagovailoa Wednesday, and the Dolphins' QB said that he is confident in his team’s faith in him. Flores was asked Friday to explain that commitment, specifically whether he could say definitively that Tagovailoa would be Miami's starting quarterback for the remainder of the 2021 season.

Tagovailoa has been enjoying the best stretch in his career. He completed 75% of his passes during his last two games, for 620 yards and 6 touchdowns, as well as 3 interceptions. However, Miami is currently on a six-game losing streak that has led to speculation about a possible trade of Watson.
