Mikel Arteta, Arsenal's boss, has confirmed that there has been a sickness bug in his squad which has affected preparations for Saturday’s Premier League visit to Leicester City.

Pablo Mari, the Carabao Cup winner over Leeds, was unable to attend Tuesday's game due to the virus. Ben White was also unable to play during the game.

White has not been trained since then and is questionable for the game against the Foxes.

"It was a little bit of sickness, stomach aches, and other stuff like that. Arteta stated that everyone should be fine.

"[White] is still not trained so we will need to wait and see what he feels and then make the final decision.

"Several have been unable train, and we also picked some knocks during the game against Leeds. We are hopeful for better news.

The Gunners are unbeaten in six Premier League matches and currently sit at 10th place, three points below the top four.
