Meta (aka Facebook) seems to be working on a smartwatch with a camera

Meta, Facebook's parent company (and I have to be clear, I am not happy with having to use this phrase for the next ten years or so until people get used it), has teased two new products. Mark Zuckerberg, CEO of Meta (Facebook), spoke out about a VR headset and AR glasses.
However, it seems that Facebook (Meta), is developing other products that Mark Zuckerberg has not mentioned. Bloomberg reports that Meta (Facebook), is working on a smartwatch with front-facing cameras. Bloomberg also has a photo.

Steve Moser, an app developer, took the photo and found it in Facebook (Meta), a new app that allows users to control their Ray-Ban-branded smart sunglasses. The display shows an Apple Watch-like device, with rounded corners. There is also a selfie camera at its bottom. A button is hidden on the top of the watch, and there's a removable wrist strap.

The Verge reported in June that Facebook was developing a smartwatch with two cameras. But this is the first image we have seen of the device.

Blast to the Past: Samsung released the Samsung Galaxy Gear in 2013, anticipating Apple Watch. It had a 1.9-megapixel camera that barely anyone used. Most modern smartwatches, such as those made by Apple and Samsung, come without a camera.

A smartwatch with a camera is a good idea for Facebook (Meta), which recently refocused its efforts on virtual worlds, and augmented reality. However, we will have to wait and see how it actually works in practice.
