Elon Musk Says He Wants to Use Wealth to Get Humans to Mars, Not Pay Taxes

It was not surprising that Elon Musk, Tesla CEO, criticized a plan for taxing billionaires earlier in the week over a plan for taxing billionaires.
He is also the richest person on the planet and has other goals for his enormous wealth, including making humanity interplanetary.

He tweeted that his plan was to use the money to send humanity to Mars and to preserve consciousness.

Tesla's deal with Hertz, the rental car company, has brought Musk's net worth to $300 billion. This is despite most of his shares being held.

Musk also used a conservative talking point to say that only the super-wealthy could afford so much.

Musk tweeted that the US's national debt amounts to $28.900 billion, or $229k for each taxpayer. Taxing billionaires at 100% would not make much difference to that number. Therefore, the public must pay the remainder. This is fundamental math.

Ironically, Musk relied heavily on government spending to expand his businesses. Fortune points out that a loan of $465 million from the US Energy Department was made in 2010.

SpaceX also received a $2.9billion contract from NASA for its Human Landing System contract to create a lunar lander. This contract was paid over several years.

Musk may have the last laugh, but it's not because of his tweets. The Democratic party is being criticized for its billionaire tax plan, which puts it on unstable ground.

SpaceX CEO, John SpaceX, believes that humanity's best achievement is to establish bases on other worlds, particularly Mars.

Musk has forgotten Earth, however. Musk's immense wealth could have a hugely positive impact on Earth.

This week Musk's net worth grew by more than $36 billion. Only $6 billion could reach 42 million people who are going to die if they don't get help, UN World Food Program chief David Beasley said to CNN. It's simple.
