Mac Miller Drug Supplier Pleads Guilty to Fentanyl Charge, 20-Year Max

Prosecutors claim that the man who supplied Mac Miller with the fatal pills has admitted wrongdoing and is now awaiting a plea deal.
According to court documents obtained by TMZ Stephen Walter entered a guilty plea to one count of distribution fentanyl. The conspiracy to distribute controlled substances was dropped as a drug-related charge.

Prosecutors claimed that Walter gave Mac's dealer, Cameron James Pettit the deadly Percocet tablets which eventually caused MM to OD. We reported that Pettit called Walter and then sent a runner for them to drop them off on that fateful night.

The docs say that he could be sentenced to a maximum of 20 years imprisonment, plus a lifetime of supervision and a $1 million fine. Prosecutors recommend 17 years imprisonment and 5 years of supervised release.

Walter's plea of guilty means that he was aware of the counterfeit oxycodone pills that were laced with Fentanyl that he was selling that night.
