Floyd Mayweather turned down a request from a teenage boy to take a selfie at the Clippers' game this weekend. It was all because his nails had been painted.

TMZ Sports learned that a young fan wanted to take a photo with Floyd after Saturday's Clippers vs. Grizzlies match at Staples Center. He jumped on the court to approach Floyd, but was stopped immediately after Mayweather saw his nails.

Floyd can be heard saying, "You got painted nails, but I don't take photos with guys without painted nails," as his bodyguard pushes the fan back.

The interaction was clearly a sour note for the fan, who said that Floyd didn't want to take pictures with him because his nails were painted. "Bruh! Really?

A fan sent us a picture of his nails... showing the black paint job Floyd used.

Witnesses have reported that Floyd was happy to take photos with others after the game...posing on the court and smiling with another fan.
