Washington's Taylor Heinicke and Terry McLaurin hook up on 40-yard TD pass vs. Packers

GREEN BAY (Wisc. Washington Football Team quarterback Taylor Heinicke was raised cheering on Brett Favre. He then made a play that is somewhat reminiscent the former Green Bay Packers star.
Heinicke was forced to avoid a Jaylon Smith blitz in the first quarter. Heinicke managed to escape, got up and reset his shoulders, and then threw deep for Terry McLaurin. McLaurin made a jumping catch in the endzone to beat Eric Stokes.

McLaurin was able to tie the game at 7-7. It was McLaurin’s fourth touchdown catch of this season. Heinicke had completed his 12th touchdown pass of the season. Heinicke and his coaches discussed how to improve their game throughout the week. He was losing in New Orleans and Kansas City in consecutive games.

He also continued on a zone run for 5-yards on third-and-1 on the first drive. They want him to use his legs to create; he did not stay in the pocket on the touchdown pass, but he was still capable of creating a huge play by avoiding the rush.
