Elton John called Ed Sheeran a 'f-----g big mouth' after the singer leaked the news about a secret Christmas duet

Elton John claimed that Ed Sheeran was a f -----g large mouth for prematurely revealing a secret partnership.

John stated to NME, a music outlet, that he was "sworn secrecy" regarding the unreleased song.

In an interview with NPO Radio 2, Sheeran said that at first he didn't feel the song was right for him.

Elton John, a British singer, recently used some sarcastic words to refer to Ed Sheeran following the leak of news about a surprise Christmas duet. According to NME

Sheeran, 30, announced the collaboration in a radio appearance on NPO Radio 2 in the Netherlands. John, 74, was not aware of this. John told NME that "Yeah he let the cat out the bag, didn’t he?"

"I was sworn in secrecy, and then big mouth f g Sheeran travels to the Netherlands!" John said that the song is supposed to be released - but we are still working on it. The song has yet to be released or given a title.

Sheeran stated that John was the original inspiration for the duet. John called Sheeran last year, after John's song "Step Into Christmas" reached the UK Top 10.

"Elton called me on Christmas Day to wish me a Merry Christmas," he said. Elton rings me almost every day," he said to NPO Radio 2.

He said that Step Into Christmas was Number 6 on the charts. I would like to record another Christmas song with you. According to Sheeran, the outlet,

Sheeran stated that he didn't initially feel the song suited him. However, he was able to collaborate with his mentor and changed his mind. It's just him and me. It's amazing," Sheeran said to NPO Radio 2.

John and Sheeran have performed together before at the 2013 Grammys. John also has spent time off-stage, advising Sheeran's "Bad Habits” singer under Rocket Music Entertainment Group.

He said in a Rolling Stone interview that Sheeran, 30, reminds him of when he first started out.

He said, "That takes a lot confidence." He has plenty of confidence.
