Youngkin demands resignations from Loudoun County School Board in wake of bombshell email

GREAT FALLS (Virginia Republican gubernatorial Candidat Glenn Youngkin demanded the resignations Loudoun County Superintendent Scott Ziegler, and the school board following a shocking email this week. Ziegler notified the board about an alleged assault on a female student in a girl’s bathroom, just a month after Ziegler had publicly stated that he didn't have any record of such assaults.
Youngkin said that the email was "outlandish" and spoke to Fox News on Saturday. Youngkin said that the email "confirms what we already know: we had school board administrators who were covering this up." They tried to hide it from parents. They've kept it from the general public. And they endangered students by moving this young male who was actually being charged with a sexual assault in another school.

YOUNGKIN SIGNS TO HOLD LOUDOUN COUNTY BOARD OFFICIALS RESPONSIBLE FOR ALLEGED SEXUAL ABUSES

Prosecutors confirmed the allegations against the young man for sexual assault in two different situations at schools. The first occurred in May in a girls' restroom, and the second took place in October in a classroom in another school. The sheriff's office called it his new school.

Ziegler sent an email on May 28 to the school board stating that a student claimed that a male student had sexually assaulted a student in the bathroom after the first incident. Ziegler stated that the "predator transgender student" or "person simply doesn't exist" and that he did not know of any reports of assaults in school restrooms.

WTOP reported the email for the first time on Thursday.

LOUDOUN COUNTY PARENTS REQUEST SUPERINTENDENT RESIGN TO OVERALL SEXUAL ASSAULTS IN SCHOOLS

Youngkin stated to Fox News that this was "gross negligence at its worst form."

The Republican stated, "There must be resignations." "In fact, people that have not resigned, it's hard to understand how they could possibly go into their next School Board meeting. They covered up this so how can they be expected to go to their next school board meeting and sit there representing our children's future?

Fox News confirmed that the Youngkin campaign said Ziegler is asking for his resignation as well as the resignations of all board members involved in the alleged cover up.

Youngkin claimed that the situation involved Buta Biberaj the county prosecutor. She sought jail time for the father of one victim of sexual assault after he spoke out at the June 22 meeting. He flew into an angry rage and was eventually convicted of disorderly conduct as well as resisting arrest.

LOUDOUN EMAIL REVEALS SUPERINTENDENT FIRED SCHOOL BOARD ON DAY of ALLEGED SEXUAL ASSSAULT

Youngkin stated that the investigation into the coverup must include Biberaj, the commonwealth attorney, who "clearly knew what was happening, as well."

He criticized Mark Herring, Virginia's Democratic attorney General, for failing to launch an investigation. He said that he would investigate the matter and hold those responsible accountable if elected.

Youngkin also condemned President Biden's Department of Justice, which ordered to the FBI an investigation into a "disturbing pattern" of "threats of violent violence" at school board meetings. This was apparently in response to the National School Board Association which made a comparison between some parents and domestic terrorists. (NSBA has since apologized for the language in the letter.

Youngkin stated that the FBI must stop trying to silence parents of Virginia and investigate the entire situation.

The Republican said, "We need a governor that's going to work for parents." We must not fall for the accusations made by teachers' associations. We must stand up to reckless and reckless accusations made by the Department of Justice and the attorney general.

Youngkin promised to appoint a secretary of education and a superintendent of schools before December 1. Youngkin also promised to appoint a new secretary of education and a new superintendent of schools by December 1.

The Republican stated, "My job will be to stand up to parents and ensure that their children's education is fully supported because it's a fundamental rights in the Commonwealth of Virginia. I'm going make sure it happens."

Fox News asked for comment immediately from Herring, Ziegler, Loudoun County Public Schools and Ziegler.
