On Friday, former President Donald Trump blasted Meghan McCain as a bully. He also called Meghan a lowlife and should be thankful that he organized for her father's longest funeral.
McCain recently attacked Trump for his repeated attacks against her father, the late Arizona GOP Senator John McCain; Trump family members; as well as her former View cohosts, while she promoted her new memoir Bad Republican.
Trump attacked McCain's comments in a statement. He sniped: Isn't it funny Meghan McCain, who has been a bully and basically a lowlife, now complains that she was bullied at The View by the Slobs, Radical Left maniacs and Radical Left maniacs? Her father had the longest funeral in the world, and I helped make it possible... even though I wasn't a fan.
He was referring specifically to McCain's state of affairs at the Capitol Rotunda following his death in 2018. Trump apparently resisted the idea of McCain lying in state at Capitol Rotunda.
Trump stated in his Friday statement that he was a RINOs RINO and used the abbreviation "Republican in Name Only" for his Friday statement.
Meghan McCain, a former president's daughter, wrote in her book that she was furious at Jared Kushner and Ivanka Trump, her father's son-in-law and daughter-in-law, attending her fathers funeral. This followed Trumps repeated attacks against him that included denigrating McCains military record.
Trump claimed McCain was not a war hero while campaigning in 2015. He was captured in Vietnam War and held prisoner of war for five year. He said that he liked people who weren't captured.
Meghan McCain also shared a strange 2017 call with Trump, in which he claimed that an Axios article that mocked her father's war injuries was fake.

McCain also took aim at her View cohosts during her promotional tour. She claimed they bullied McCain and created a toxic environment for her because she is conservative. In August, she quit the talk show.
His aide Liz Harrington posted Trump's response to McCain's comments in full on Twitter. Harrington posts all of Trump's statements on the social media platform.
