Red Dead Redemption 2 looks better than ever in this 4K, 60 FPS PC trailer.
Rockstar plays a clever game.
Release a big blockbuster title like Grand Theft Auto V or Red Dead Redemption 2 first on PS4 and Xbox One, then wait a while. Bide your time. Play it cool.
Months (or years) later, release the same game on PC but with all the bells and whistles PC gamers enjoy like truly jaw-dropping graphics at 4k resolution with a steady 60 frames-per-second, the way God intended.
Watch as console gamers who also play on PC buy it a second time.
Profit.
And I must say, the first trailer for Red Dead Redemption 2 on PC is absolutely, gobsmackingly gorgeous.
The trailer mentions that it's "enhanced for PC" and I think that's something of an understatement. It already looked terrific on Xbox One X (where I played it) but this looks even better.
Feast yer eyes:
Not too shabby.
Red Dead Redemption 2 comes to PC on November 5th. We'll have more coverage of the game prior to launch as well as impressions afterward, I reckon.
See you on the trail.
