Ranting and Raving About the New Apple and Google Hardware

It's still product announcement time. Google unveiled its new Pixel phones this week and Apple showcased new MacBook Pro models. Both devices have significant upgrades to their predecessors. However, the MacBook's "new" features are merely those that Apple has removed from its latest laptops. We have some minor nitpicks since all of these devices have seen their most recent updates in many years.
