Stephen Curry scored 45 points for the Golden State Warriors, including two three-pointers in the final seconds, to continue their winning streak. They beat the Los Angeles Clippers, 115-113.

Curry's long-range shot gave Curry a one point lead for the Warriors with just two minutes remaining.

Before Draymond Green secured victory, the 33-year old scored another.

The Milwaukee Bucks, the defending champions, were defeated by the Miami Heat. The Atlanta Hawks beat Dallas Mavericks.

Curry scored 25 points during the first quarter, and his team record 10 rebounds allowed him to complete a double-double at San Francisco.

The Heat beat the Bucks, who were suffering from injuries, 137-95 to set a new franchise record for most points scored in a season opener.

Tyler Herro scored 27 points from the bench while Jimmy Butler added 20 points and Bam Adebayo contributed 13 rebounds.

Brook Lopez and Jrue holiday, both starters, were both absent for the Bucks due to back spasms as well as a bruised foot.

The Hawks defeated the Mavericks 113 to 87. Trae Young scored 19 points and had 14 assists, making Jason Kidd's Dallas debut a success.
