Kyrie Irving, a vocal opponent to the COVID-19 vaccine, has been the talk in the sports and entertainment communities. Irving still displays a lack of self-awareness, and a high self-esteem. Irving posted a video in which he discussed his decision to get vaccinated. He was then caught playing football at the park.

You can be sure that Kyrie won't know the whole story if you ask him about the video of him playing in the park. Irving will not do the right thing to help his team win a championship. Irving and Kevin Durant are said to be close friends. He is the reason KD ended in Brookly. Irving has shown that he doesn't care about anyone but himself. Kyrie, however, is so ignorant that he's caught playing pickeball with random people unvaccinated or unmasked in broad daylight. This guy doesn't get it.
This is an awful look. Although the Nets players won't be commenting on this video publicly, I am sure they have realized that Kyrie Irving only cares about Kyrie Irving. How many times have you been kicked in the balls before realizing that the kicker doesn't care about your well-being. The Nets have finally had enough. The first red flag should have come before the start last season, when Irving made the bold statement that the Nets don't need a coach.
Irving then took almost two weeks off during the season. He didn't have the common decency of letting anyone know. Irving was caught on a zoom call, which just so happened to be during the Nets' game. You can give him a few days, but in this case, a simple email or text message would have sufficed. He couldn't even bother to do that. The zoom call is not an issue for me. Do you, dog. You can be a little more accountable than anyone needs. It would have been impossible to face-time someone from the Nets organization and let them know what was going on at the time.
Irving is a public figure and everyone has a opinion about his antics. Irving says and does what he likes, no matter how silly or misguided. But the rest of us are wrong to call him out on his stupidity. That makes a lot of sense.

It's hard to see how this could just blow over in terms of Irving and the Nets working relationship. All the drama between Kyrie, the Nets and Irving over the last year and the disrespect he's shown to his teammates and his BFF KD, I don't see how they could just hug it out and move on if he goes back to Brooklyn. These damages cannot be repaired even if the NYC mandate is lifted tomorrow.
Kyrie Irving is a narcissist. It's obvious. Irving might say the right words (occasionally) or tell people what they want, but when it comes to it, he's all about himself. Irving doesn't care about a virus, pandemic or vaccine. Kyrie could as well say, "Stop all of you!" This flat world revolves around him. He has done that through his actions over the past 12 months.
