Twitch is testing a rewind button

Twitch's live streaming is one of its main attractions. However, I cannot count how many times I wish I could go back and see what I missed or to see it again. Twitch is currently working on a Rewind the Stream button, and it may be able to solve this problem soon.
Twitch tells The Verge that you can rewind the stream by hitting the button. You can then scroll through the stream and see what was missed, just like with any Twitch VOD (video-on-demand).

You can still see the live stream if you hit the rewind but you will not be able to use the picture-in-picture window above the chat. You won't be able use the rewind but if you don't have VODs enabled on a streamer, According to Twitch, the rewind button will now be available to approximately 25% of viewers.

Some viewers might see 3 new buttons on live channel pages over the next month: Rewind the stream, Remind me, and Watch Trailer. The buttons will be removed after the experiment is complete.

Twitch is also testing other buttons. According to the company, the Remind Me button will remind you of a scheduled stream. If they have one, the Watch Trailer button allows you to view a trailer for a streamer.

These buttons will be tested by Twitch over the next month.
