Dune will finally stream on HBO Max after many delays and much vitriol from Denis Villeneuve, the director of Dune. A rep confirmed to The Verge that the streaming will begin on October 21st, at 6PM ET/ 3PM PST.
We hope to hear from you soon enough to set up your watch party. You will need to pay HBO Maxs $15 per month ad-free plan. The $10 plan does not include day-and-date Warner Bros. movie release.
There have been multiple Dune trailers to this point. You can see two of them embedded below. The Verges staff reviewed the trailer and will be reviewing it soon.
You can also watch the 4K restoration of the 1984 David Lynch classic. It is now out in December and not August. Fortnite has also received the new movie characters.
