Televisions of Mid-Tier Class
TCL 6-Series Photograph by TCL
This is the best place to buy TVs, as you can find excellent tech and great interfaces for a relatively low price.
TCL 6-Series (9/10 WIRED Recommends), has been our favorite TV for many years. This excellent 2020 model is the same. The TV has mini LED backlighting that gives you better black levels. It also features an easy-to-use Android TV interface. This makes it simple to download apps and cast from your phone. Walmart also offers this deal.
This Samsung model is a good option if you need something larger than the TCL. It has Alexa built in, which allows you to set timers or ask for the weather. If you don't wish to use Alexa, you can turn it off.
The 5-Series TV is the most affordable under $500. The 5-Series includes a quantum dot screen, an Android TV interface and Alexa compatibility. The voice remote included makes it easy for you to search for your favorite content.
Big Screens
Are you looking for a large screen to view your favorite TV shows or teams? These are two great options.

This 75-inch Samsung is bright and vibrant thanks to the quantum dot technology. It's perfect for large living rooms with windows. The center pedestal stand allows the TV to fit onto standard-sized TV consoles.
Sony is another manufacturer of large-sized TVs. This one has Android TV built in, as well as Alexa compatibility for quick searching. The TV also features Sony's MotionFlow XR technology which clarifies high-speed objects such as players and balls while watching sports and all of the action when gaming.

Are you looking for a more permanent upgrade? These are some of the best deals available on the most beautiful TVs currently on the market.
This Samsung 4K flagship TV is an amazing looking TV (8/10, Wired Recommends). The company's Neo QLED quantum dots technology and mini LED backlighting combine to make this the best TV we have ever seen in bright rooms. It is also one of our favorite screens in dark rooms.
The C1 is beautiful if you have a dark place to view it (or any room at home), and I highly recommend it (8/10, Wired Recommends). The C1 is also great for gamers thanks to HDMI inputs and a 120Hz refresh rate, which delivers smooth motion onscreen.
