Apple also introduced the new 14-inch and 16-inch MacBook Pro models.
The cloth is made from a soft, non-abrasive material and is suitable for Apple displays. It can also be used with all types of iPhones, iPads and Macs as well as the mini-LED displays of new MacBook Pro models.
People who had hoped to order a Polishing Cloth for their MacBook Pros but haven't yet ordered it may not be able to do so as the initial supply has sold out. The Polishing Cloth won't arrive until November 18-24 if ordered today. This is quite a wait for a bit of cloth.
Apple recommends that you use a soft, non-linty cloth to clean your Apple products. However, cleaners should not be used. A 70% solution of isopropyl alcohol can be used to moisten the cloth if necessary.
Since its launch, Apple has been shipping a similar polishing cloth with the nano-texture Pro Display XDR. The instructions for that cloth indicate that the cloth can be washed by hand with water and dish soap if it becomes dirty.
The Polishing Cloth is currently not available in Apple's retail stores. However, retail locations may be able to start stocking it next week, when the MacBook Pro models are launched.
