Impaled turtle reveals new insight on the day the dinosaurs died

It is widely believed that the Chicxulub Asteroid, which jolted our planet 66 millions years ago, was responsible for wiping away dinosaurs and other species. We might now be seeing the effects of it on individual animals.

An amazing, but controversial geological site appears to illustrate how an asteroid caused death of a turtle. The turtle was impaled by a branch during the tsunami of destruction that swept across the planet.

This is despite the fact that evidence supports this assertion.
