Netflix will support Twitch co-streaming for the first episode of Arcane

Arcane, Riots new League of Legends-adapted fantasy series, will debut on Netflix next month. It will be the first Netflix show to have co-streaming on Twitch.
Arcane will be available on Netflix worldwide on Saturday, November 6, 2018. Twitch and Arcane will partner to allow communities to stream Arcane's first episode together, as well as Twitch streamers being able to share their reactions live on Twitch.

Riot spokesperson tells The Verge that anyone can stream Arcane's first episode on Twitch without requiring preapproval. Riots Los Angeles headquarters will host the series premiere. In a press release, the company stated that influencers from more than 30 countries will stream the event.

Our global player base was very interested in deeper storytelling, and it was a major factor in our decision to create Arcane. Therefore, it is only right that they can all watch the first episode together as a community. Brandon Miao (cross-product experiences lead, Riot Experience) released a statement.

Arcane, Riots' first TV series, will be available on Netflix globally and Tencent Video China in three acts. Each act will consist of three episodes. The series' Act 1 will be available on November 6th. Acts 2 through 3 will follow on November 13th and 20th. The total length of the show will be nine episodes.
