Matthew Wright converts at 53 yards for the Jaguars' first win of the season against the Dolphins in London. (0:33).
JACKSONVILLE (Fla.) Urban Meyer has won many games as a college coach. He also spent a lot time in emotional locker rooms after his three national championships at Florida State and Ohio State.

Meyer stated that the moments following Sunday's 23-20 win by the Jacksonville Jaguars over the Miami Dolphins at Tottenham Hotspur stadium in London were as intense and as intense as any other title game he had ever experienced.

Meyer stated, "I believe it was." Meyer said, "Maybe even some of those big ones [national champions]".

Meyer's first win as an NFL head coach was also the Jaguars' first season-ending victory. It was also the Jaguars' first win in 399 days. The Jaguars lost 20 consecutive games, the longest losing streak in NFL history. This was the result of a defeat over the Indianapolis Colts in 2020's season opener.

As time expired, Matthew Wright's 53-yard field goal was enough to beat the Dolphins (1-5) The celebration sparked a huge celebration on the field, with players running to Wright's sideline to congratulate him. Wright signed with the practice squad, and has been the kicker for the past three weeks as Josh Lambo was struggling with confidence.

Meyer usually gives out game balls following victories but this time, the players did it themselves. Receiver Marvin Jones Jr. handed one to Trevor Lawrence, the quarterback, and Wright was also given one. Wright was then able to hold the ball on his shoulders. Wright was 3-for-3 against Miami, including a 54-yarder in the fourth quarter.
