According to a survey, Americans have eaten more processed junk food in the last two decades.
Filippa Juul, New York University, and her colleagues analysed data taken from an annual survey that was conducted since 2001. The survey involves asking 5000 adults in the US to recall their last 24 hours of eating habits.
Based on their processing level, the team divided foods into four categories.
