Tre'Quon Fegans, an ESPN 300 defensive back, committed to Alabama on Monday. This adds to the No. 2nd overall.
Fegans is No. Fegans is the 64th prospect overall. He is a 6-foot-1, 175-pound player from Thompson High School, Alabaster, Alabama. He was committed to Miami since July but was released by the Hurricanes in October.
Fegans was considering the Crimson Tide before he made his commitment to Miami. Fegans visited Alabama after he had committed to the Hurricanes. He is now part the Crimson Tide class.
Alabama saw a huge rise in the recruiting rankings, with four ESPN 300 commitments added in July. The momentum was continued by three additional ESPN 300 recruits being added since September. In the last few weeks, Jaleel Skinner (tight end), Elijah Pritchett (offensive lineman) and now Fegans joined.
These three additions to the class mean that Alabama now has 11 commitments that rank in the top 150 of the players rankings. The total number of ESPN 300 commitments by the staff is 13, which is equal to Notre Dame's and Texas's most for any FBS program.
