Ikea’s Bluetooth speaker with Spotify Tap is also a lamp

A FCC filing has just revealed that Ikea's Vappeby Bluetooth speaker leaked. This Ikea-designed speaker, a mushroom-shaped one, has an IP65 rating, which means it will resist rain and dust. It also comes with an integrated 20-lumen (2700K), bulb, to double as a portable light source. This is not all.
In a first for Bluetooth speakers, the Vappeby speaker has a Spotify Tap button. Spotify Tap allows you to resume music from where you left it, or tap the button again for a personalized recommendation. Spotify Tap is available on many Bluetooth headphones, including those from Samsung, Microsoft and Jabra.

This small speaker is ideal for outdoor use and has a USB port for charging. Ikea claims that the battery will last up to 13 hours if it is set at 50% volume and brightness.

The Vappeby is not part of the Symfonisk Sonos-developed speakers. It will be next to Ikea's Bluetooth speakers, which start at $24.99 and go up until $89. The price and release date of this all-weather, portable speaker are unknown, but once it has cleared the FCC, it should be available in retail channels soon.
