This past tracking week featured what turned out to be a tight race between two new acts, and the winner ended up surprising many. Outside of the top 10, a number of high-profile releases celebrate important anniversaries and a newcomer who has already scored one of the biggest hits of 2019 all around the world finally reaches the Billboard 200 for the first time thanks to that one cut's popularity.

Here are five albums that made big moves on the Billboard 200 chart this week.

No. 1 - SuperM - SuperM

Few could have predicted in August when SuperM debuted their handful of songs to an audience for the first time that in just two months they would make history by landing their first No. 1 album on the Billboard 200. By sending their first self-titled EP straight to the top, the septet becomes just the second K-pop act to rule in the all-genre chart's half-century-long tenure.

No. 2 - Summer Walker - Over It

For the past week or so, many in the music industry assumed R&B newcomer Summer Walker was headed straight to the top of the Billboard 200 with her debut album Over It, though that didn't end up being the case. While she won when it comes to streams, K-pop outfit SuperM's self-titled EP sold well over 100,000 copies more than Walker's release, and that helped them claim the top spot.

Walker does enter the top 10 for the first time this frame and settles in the runner-up spot, and many of the tracks featured on Over It find their way to the Hot 100, making it a huge success right out of the gate.

No. 91 - Ella Mai - Ella Mai

Speaking of R&B favorites, Ella Mai's self-titled debut album has now officially spent a year on the Billboard 200, something even she probably couldn't have foreseen when she released it in late 2018. The title produced several massive singles, including "Trip" and "Boo'd Up," which broke into the top 10 and won Mai a Grammy. The singer-songwriter is likely hard at work on her next project, but clearly her fan base isn't done with her last release.

No. 159 - Taylor Swift - Reputation

While she may be busy promoting her new album Lover, Taylor Swift's fans aren't through consuming her previous pop effort just yet. The pop star's 2017 chart-topper Reputation moves to No. 159 on this week's Billboard 200, finding a space on the tally for its one-hundredth frame (becoming her sixth title to do so, a record among women).

No. 188 - Tones and I - The Kids Are Coming

As her breakout smash single "Dance Monkey" finally reaches the Hot 100 (the track debuts at No. 96 this frame), the EP it's featured on, The Kids Are Coming, also makes it to the Billboard 200 for the first time. The six-song set opens at No. 188, and if the lead cut can continue to perform well, the title may climb in the coming weeks.
